Broad Signs, Sign makers based in Berkshire

Our History

Kevin Broad started work as a traditional sign writer in the mid 70's. His experience in gold leafing, graining and marbling led to him being responsible for many of the hand written signs in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

He enjoyed computer work and when the industry moved into the more cost effective activity of computer generated signage, Kevin found himself equally in demand. In the mid 80's he was solely responsible for the Coca Cola signage in London and the south.

He also worked extensively in Formula One, creating the sponsors' stickers for companies like Benetton F1.Kevin later moved into sports signage and has a current association with rugby stadium work. He has created exhibition graphics for the beauty industry and for the Diana Princess of Wales exhibition at Althorp.

Kevin worked for two major sign companies, before deciding to start his own company.  Business quickly followed. Since its inception just over three years ago, Broad Signs have established themselves as professional, reliable and trustworthy sign makers.  They have produced signs from Milton Keynes to Cardiff, and had requests from as far away as Glasgow.

Working for the Madejski stadium brought the need to expand the business, so the company moved to Woodley.  Broad Signs are happy to be the only signmaker in Woodley, and the company continues to go from strength to strength.
