…ESL means that someone speaks English as a second language. Are you honestly complaining about immigrants coming here and learning English? Wow, that’s a new one.
BTW I do know what you’re getting at, and no, it doesn’t bother me at all to see Spanish instructions along English ones or whatever. I have more important things to care about.

I much prefer ESL to Bilingual education…which is just teaching the scoundrels in their own language so they don’t have to learn English.
YES! Language is the glue that holds a nation together. I think making Spanish anything but a dying language could set the stage for very ugly affairs.
I think we need to improve our legal immigration process. Illegal immigration can only be fixed by either our decline in attractiveness or increasing the attractiveness of other nations. Walls, border patrols, none of these things are going to make much of a dent. I know because they’ve already been tried and have done nothing.
Talk to a legal immigrant or someone here on an H1-B visa. The way this government treats them is deplorable and embarassing. If you start advocating to support improving and increasing LEGAL immigration, I will start supporting your walls and border patrols and such, even though I know they are 95% ineffective. Deal?
It’s funny how illegals are entitled to ESL classes in elementary school, but native-born Americans can’t take Spanish classes in elementary school. If you want your child to learn a foreign language in primary school, you have to send them to private school, but illegals can plop a child here and get those services for free.
Its for people whose first language is other than english.
A useful program to get people to speak english in America or other english speaking countries.
