“No we haven’t had the baby yet!”

As seen on TV!
The Stork Has Landed! was featured in the popular daytime TV show 'Today with Des and Mel' .

The Stork Has Landed! birth announcements were thrilled to get their product onto the popular daytime programme, 'Today with Des and Mel' . The idea came about when a neighbour reminded Sara Broad that Des O'Connor was to become a father again and that Melanie Sykes, the co-presenter of the programme, was also expecting a baby.

Des and The Stork!Sara phoned the studio and was delighted with their response; the researcher of the programme, Amy Boyle really liked the idea of us donating some storks to the programme. So Kevin and Sara went up to the studio in Teddington with a pink and a blue one, in the size that usually get hired out.

Kevin thought it would be amusing to name one Des and the other Mel, as they had no way of guessing the details of their babies yet.The studio were really kind and we could not believe our luck when the storks appeared on television on Good Friday, on what was a jam packed programme to mark the end of the current series. "When Des started examining his stork, he managed to have a mechanical disaster and couldn't get it to stand upright, but our children found it hilarious", said Sara. We don't think we will be able to top this celebrity outing - but we are open to offers.

We operate a 24/7 hire service of the large storks, so it will be interesting to see where the storks land next.

The Stork Has Landed! have just started production of mini birth announcement storks that look good on a windowsill or on top of a cabinet in the maternity ward or cot.

Like the larger version, they contain space to write those important details of the baby's name, date of birth, and birth weight.
